Created to mark the two-hundredth anniversary of John Constable’s most famous painting, The Hay Wain brings to life the people that populate the painting, lives defined not by simplicity and virtue, but by hardship, hope and resilience.
Taking place in the beautifully historic surroundings of Colchester Castle after the park has closed to the general public, this is an open-air production so bring picnics, chairs and jackets. A bar will be on site providing drinks and light refreshments.
